Hi! For over two decades I’ve built a career as a Broadcast Graphic Designer working professionally for national cable channels, film, web, social media and network television, both live and recorded. Working as an independent contractor, as well as in a staff capacity, my clients have included A&E, Lifetime, FYI, LMN, History Channel, FYI, WEtv, Sundance TV, MSNBC, CBS, IFC, Discovery, WWE, Food Network, Cooking Channel and the NBA. My first big break in television was at Court TV, (now TruTV), as a Broadcast Designer; a position I held for 8 years. I’ve also designed and executed branding packages and visual effects for numerous award winning web series and independent film.
With my years of experience with eclectic clients, I've had the good fortune to stay sharp in the ever-expanding new media landscape. For example, I was recently able to bring my social media and broadcast experience to the NBA, where I helped maximize fan engagement by using After Effects scripting to link timely and sharable motion graphics with in-game data. These animations increased fan engagement across all NBA social media platforms and enhanced production on-air broadcast animations.
I love design and motion graphics in particular. I am adept technically and am constantly learning and broadening myself to enhance my art. I find the marriage of technical and creative, at the heart of our field, to be wonderfully exciting and just
one part of the reason I love what I do.
I have an MA (with Distinction) in Communications from the New York Institute of Technology. As a military veteran of the New York National Guard, I know what’s it like to work under pressure in a team environment, striving towards a common goal.
I am also an all around creative person. Besides being a designer, I am a writer and comedian. I have performed all over the city and have regular commentaries on the Progressive Voices Channel on Tune-In radio. I believe that staying active, involved and contributing wherever I can makes me better designer overall, with the ability to tell stories through a multitude of media – a skill that is essential in this ever-expanding communications landscape.

In addition to national cable networks and well known brands, I've had experience working with the sport-focused cable-alternative "OTT" platform FUBO.TV to conceptualized, produce, design, edit and animate all in-platform and online motion graphics, video elements, promotional ads and environmental signage, I also collaborated with the product team and email department to create UX design for their streaming application as well as HTML5 and GIF promotional animations for direct marketing.
